Product Introduction:
Introducing Hermès Rocabar Eau de Toilette, a warm and lively fragrance inspired by the equestrian world. This fragrance combines the woody notes of cedar with the lively cypress and enveloping, balmy benzoin, creating a unique and unforgettable scent.
Created by perfumer Gilles Romey in 1998, Rocabar takes its inspiration from traditional horse blankets made in the Hermès workshops, with blue and red stripes on a saffron background. The name Rocabar is a contraction of the English word “rug” and the French expression “à barres”, meaning striped.
The bottle design is inspired by the lanterns of horse-drawn carriages, with a black cap reminiscent of a riding hat. The back label is illustrated with a design by Philippe Dumas, indicating that it belongs to the Parfums-Fondateurs collection.
