Benylin dry cough night syrup has the strength to control your dry hacking cough and lets you rest.effective relief of:dry coughingredients: each 5 ml or 1 teaspoonful (tsp.) contains:cough suppressant/antihistamine:diphenhydramine hydrochloriderelieves dry cough, runny nose, and sneezing. 12.5 mgnon-medicinal ingredients (alphabetical):alcohol, fd&c red no. 2, flavours (orange, clove, coriander, cinnamon, anethole), sugar, water.directions: adult use only (12 years and over)shake well before using.2 to 4 tsp. (10 to 20 ml) every 4-6 hours. Maximum 16 tsp. (80 ml) / daywarning: keep out of reach of children. Do not take more than the recommended dosage. Avoid alcohol. May cause drowsiness or excitability. Use caution when driving a motor vehicle or operating machinery. Talk to a doctor or pharmacist before using this product if you have persistent/chronic cough, asthma, chronic lung disease/shortness of breath, glaucoma, difficulty urinating due to enlargement of the prostate gland or if you are pregnant, breastfeeding or taking antihistamines, a prescription drug or other medication. Consult a doctor if symptoms do not improve, or cough lasts more than 7 days, tends to recur, or is accompanied by a fever.
