Atlas Dexidin 4% Detergent 115 mL

Atlas Dexidin 4% Detergent is an antibacterial skin cleanser for external use only. It is labeled for preoperative washing and for antiseptic cleansing for acne prone skin.

This solution is supplied in a 115 mL size and contains chlorhexidine gluconate 4%. Use it as directed on the label for washing hands, forearms, or face, depending on the intended use.

Directions

Preoperative Washing: Wet hands and forearms. Apply 5mL of product. Rub for one minute without neglecting brushing fingernails. Rinse well and repeat procedure for two minutes. Antiseptic Cleansing for Acne Prone Skin: Wash hands with small amount of product and water; rinse hands. Wet face. Work up suds in palm of hands, using small amount of product. Rub gently into face and rinse. Repeat procedure and massage suds gently into face for four to five minutes, adding water as needed. Rinse and pat dry. Follow procedure once or twice daily.

Warnings

Keep out of reach of children. Avoid contact with eyes. If any contact with eyes, rinse eyes immediately for a few minutes under free running water. In case of swallowing, drink milk or vegetable oil. Call a physician at once. If irritation develops or increases, discontinue use. Hypochlorite bleaching of garments that have been in contact with chlorhexidine may develop brown stains, replace bleaching agent by Sodium Perborate.
