Instructions:
Life Brand LB Enema 130 mL is for rectal use only. To use, remove the green protective shield before inserting. Hold the bottle upright, grasping the bottle cap with fingers, and grasp the protective shield with the other hand, pulling gently to remove. The preferred positions are lying on the left side with knees flexed or in the knee-chest position. Self-administration may be carried out with the person lying on a towel on the bathroom floor or in the bathtub. With steady pressure, gently insert the enema with the tip pointing toward the navel. Squeeze the bottle until nearly all liquid is expelled. Remove the tip from the rectum. Discontinue use if resistance is encountered. Forcing the enema can result in injury. It is not necessary to empty the unit completely. A small amount of liquid will remain in the bottle after squeezing. Maintain position until the urge to evacuate is strong (usually 2 to 15 minutes).

Ingredients:
Each 118 mL (delivered dose) contains: 19 g monobasic sodium phosphate and 7 g dibasic sodium phosphate. Sodium content 4.4 g per delivered dose. Non-medicinal ingredients (alphabetical order): benzalkonium chloride, disodium EDTA, water.
