Instructions:
To operate the safe pack:
1. Remove the pen needle from storage and use it as directed.
2. After giving the injection, leave the pen needle on the pen injector. Carefully insert the pen needle tip into the center of the red opening on top of the UltiGuard Safe Pack and push in with slight pressure. Do not push into the opening with excessive force.
3. Rotate the pen injector counter-clockwise to unscrew the pen needle from the pen. Store the pen as directed.
4. Turn the UltiGuard Safe Pack’s handle a full 360 degrees to eject the pen needle into the container. If the pen needle did not eject, rotate the handle again until the pen needle is ejected.
To attach the needle to a pen injector:
1. Remove the paper tab.
2. Push the needle straight onto the pen and twist until tight.
3. Pull off the outer shield and set aside.
4. Pull off the inner shield and prime your pen before injecting.
Before using these needles, consult your physician and follow your pen’s instructions for use.
