Instructions:
To use the Laura Mercier Bronzer Brush, first cleanse it with Laura’s Brush Cleanser or mild shampoo and warm water. Gently squeeze water through the hair, going from base to tip, and rinse thoroughly. Dip or spray the brush in Brush Cleanser and remove makeup with a tissue. Repeat if necessary, then reshape the brush to its original form. To protect the brush fibers, pick up product and cleanse in the direction of the hair; never “swirl” or harshly rub brushes on any surface. Shape the brush and allow it to air dry on a flat surface. Do not stand brushes on end to dry.

For best results when picking up product, press the bristles into the powder, then press the brush onto the back of your hand to work the powder into the brush. This will ensure the powder is loaded into the bristles and minimize fallout. Gently tap the brush once on the back of your hand to shake off any excess product. Tap and press the loaded bristle all over the area first, then blend.

For precise and detailed application, hold the brush at the center of the handle or closer to the ferrule. Pinch the brush handle between your thumb and middle finger. For added control, also use your pointer finger with a light touch on the handle; this will act more as a “guide” during application. It should feel like you’re balancing the brush.

To blend and diffuse, hold the brush with a loose grip, close to the end of the handle, and lightly pinch between your thumb, pointer, and middle finger. This will provide the most “painterly” result.
