The process of testing blood sugar is straightforward and can be completed in four simple steps:
- After washing and drying your hands, insert the CONTOUR®NEXT test strip into the meter. The device will automatically turn on.
- Utilize the MICROLET®NEXT lancing device to create a drop of blood for testing.
- Apply the blood to the test strip. If the initial sample is not enough, the meter’s countdown screen will indicate that you have 60 seconds to apply more blood.
- View your test result. The smartLIGHT color signal will provide instant feedback regarding your blood glucose level.
